Leadership of Hoshana Rabbah and Congregation Elim

We ask you, brothers, to respect those who are working hard among you, those who are guiding you in the Lord and confronting you in order to help you change. Treat them with the highest regard and love because of the work they are doing. Live at peace among yourselves.
—1 Thessalonians 5:12-13 (CJB)

He grew up in Northeastern Pennsylvania, was an active part of the ministry at Yahweh's Mt. Zion Encampment, and is a gifted Bible and Hebrew teacher.

Yehoseph is a Chiropractor practicing in one of the suburbs of Portland. Having earned a bachelor of science degree in Microbiology from Pennsylvania State University, he worked in the Biology field in various positions for over ten years before returning to graduate school at Western States Chiropractic College in Portland, Oregon. Lloyd DayLloyd Day
Lloyd accepted Yeshua as his savior on 2/2/64 in San Bernardino, CA. Within a few years the Father led him to Multnomah School of the Bible in Portland, Oregon. This is where he met and married his wife Carole on 6/1/68. Both Lloyd and Carole are graduates of Multnomah. Lloyd received his Bachelor of Theology Degree in 1971. They have five grown children and five grandchildren ranging in age from 4 to 18.

Lloyd worked for five years as an accountant and two and a half years as a supervisor in Production Control at a foundry in Portland before working as an accounting and tax consultant to small businesses in the Portland area. He then worked for seventeen and a half years as a Manager of Purchasing for computer-related companies until he retired in 2000.

The Father opened his eyes to the Hebraic roots of our faith in the early nineties. In the summer of 1997 he found a new Messianic congregation in Salem and began fellowshipping with them. In late 1998 the founding pastor left the congregation and Lloyd stepped in to keep the congregation going. He served as the pastor of this congregation for eight and a half years and then retired again.

You never really retire from your commitment and relationship to YHVH and in 2009 YHVH led him to associate with Hoshana Rabbah. Lloyd, a faithful servant of YHVH and follower of Yeshua HaMashiach, passed away in March 2016.
